Desoto Teacher Arrested For Sexaul Assault Of Students

A Desoto teacher was arrested on two different charges of sexual assault this past week. The teacher worked in the alternative school in Desoto and is accused of having sex with two different 16 year old boys. According to reports one sexual act was committed in the teachers car and the other was committed at the students home.

Texas sexual assault charges are extremely serious. The penalty range for sexual assault in Texas is  2 to 20 years in prison. Any person convicted of sexual assault is also required to register as a sex offender for the rest of their life. I would not be surprised if prosecutors charge the defendant in this case with Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student which is also carries a 2 to 20 year punishment range.
